One of our awesome volunteers, Jesse, has been a regular participant in the annual Kimmett Cup hockey tournament held in Cochrane, AB.

“The Kimmett Cup is a 3-on-3 pond hockey tournament held annually on the third weekend of January at Mitford Pond in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. The tournament benefits the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization started by Lindsay’s family after her death.”

This year the Kimmett Cup tournament raised $125,000.00 to Children’s Wish and $35,000 to the Children’s Cottage Society! What an amazing turn out. Last year, HYTES was fortunate enough to receive a donation from the tournament towards our cause of empowering kids, families and communities in developing nations by opening the door to educational opportunities. This year, we were so grateful to receive $2525 from the Kimmett Cup tournament! We are beyond thankful and hope to make an appearance at the tournament each year to volunteer and support such an amazing event. Thank you so much to the organizers, volunteers, participants, and donators to the Kimmett Cup and the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation for supporting HYTES, and thank you Jesse! What an amazing fundraiser and community event towards great causes.
